We only met a couple of times. Lovely man. Was devastated to hear of his illness, and even more devastated to hear of his passing. Shows what a man he was to have people who only just met him become so fond of him. Sending love to the family.

My Heart still breaks, but I'm sure in time it will heal. But you will ALWAYS be in there and in my thoughts.

You were always there when needed for all your Siblings.

Uncle David.. Thank you for being so unapologetically You. You were such an incredibly gentle beautiful soul with the biggest of hearts. Even in your last moments you thought of others. It breaks my heart that you were taken so early and unexpectedly but I’m forever grateful I got to spend time with you before your passing. The memories I have with you will never be forgotten. The world lost one of the most beautiful souls but heaven has gained the bravest and funniest Angel. I know your smile will brighten up the darkest of days from up there! You will be so deeply missed by many.

RIP Dave a very sad loss to all who knew him. He was a brilliant brother in law lots of fantastic memories over many years, a great drinking buddy and mentor and friend.
He was a very kind, caring and generous man, funny with a very infectious laugh.
Many time we stocked up on beer and later the same day Dave would appear , stay for drinks, then dinner and lots of laughs…. Listening to good music guessing who the Artist was and fighting about who was playing the next choice of music!
Finishing the night at 5am the next morning!
Lovely memories to cherish and remember .
He is greatly missed and always will be.

Dave you were a very special person and very caring. Although we weren't blood family that didn't matter because you always treated me like your niece and I will forever be grateful to have had you and sue in my life and be a part of your family. You gave it your best fight to the end and you will forever be in our hearts. I know you will be in the sky looking after your beautiful family and your brothers and sisters. I will forever remember your laugh. I'm sad that your not with us anymore but im glad you don't have to be in pain anymore as that was the hardest thing to hear that you was in so much pain.

Our kind but hilarious Uncle David. You will be greatly missed for your great humour, advice and kindness. I will treasure the toy box you made for my children as I couldn't find one like i wanted but you made it perfectly. Just shows how hard you worked and what care and craftmanship you put into everything you did. More recently you gave Bradley some great words of advice when starting in the world of work and I appreciate that so much. You fought with such dignity and always thought of others. Rest peacefully Uncle David until we meet again xx
