💕In loving memory of Doris Irene Hodson, who sadly passed away on 3rd August 2025💕

Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and Friend to everyone.

Whether it was going to keep-fit classes (just for the gossip and biscuits) or meeting friends in a café, she lived life to the full right up to the grand old age of 92.

In her early life, she worked hard but danced harder. Going ballroom and sequence dancing regularly with her late husband Cyril, making lifelong friends along the way.

Doris had a lot of love to give to family and friends. Doris and Cyril had 3 daughters: Janet, followed by Angela and then, 14 years later Teresa. Sadly Janet passed away at the age of 45.

Andrew was their first grandchild swiftly followed by their only granddaughter Sarah and then 4 more grandsons Matthew, Scott, George and the youngest Todd. She was delighted to become a great-grandmother to Amy, Hannah, Emily, Joseph, Olly, Evie, Ayla and Olivia.

Doris was a fun-loving, happy individual who loved life. Whether she was dancing the night away or just stopping in the town for a chat (and she loved to talk) she always had a smile on her face and a story to tell.
