In loving memory of Dave Foy who sadly passed away on 28th July 2025 aged 64 years after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Dave was a kind, considerate and loyal family man who always stood up for what he believed in. He had a passion for the sea, was a very capable sailor and also loved to travel.
He was a proud member of the Merchant Navy before leaving to settle down and have a family.
In later years he volunteered as a member of the National Coastwatch Institute in Felixstowe.

Carol, I was saddened to hear of Dave's passing. It is hard to believe that almost 20 years have gone by since we saw each other. One of the few people who saw past my acquired American accent and called me "a good mate from Suffolk with a funny accent." LOL
He was proud of his sailing accomplishments and I enjoyed the times I was able to go with him on his sailboat. He always laughed remembering that a trip down the Orwell (Gale Force 10 winds to me, but a gentle breeze to Dave) forced me to lose my lunch for the only time in my life on a trip.
But most of all, I remember the wonderful times we had together and the support you both gave us in ministry. Words fail me right now to share what those times of fellowship meant to Violet and I. He will be missed, but I am thankful he is no longer suffering.
