In loving memory of Sally Tarpey who sadly passed away on 1st June 2025. Sally was a loyal, loving and caring friend, mother, sister, grandmother and partner. An adventurer, a teacher, a lover of tea, the arts… especially the theatre, a good book was always by her side, she was the life and soul of the party and a free and creative spirit. She lived everyday to its fullest - there was never a dull moment with our mum around. St Helena Hospice were absolutely amazing during mum's time there and they are in desperate need of financial support as they rely mainly on donations to continue their incredible work. If you can donate even a small amount it would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Luke and Kate

I am so sad to hear this. She was my drama teacher at school in the late seventies. I loved drama with her, she and her lessons were always such fun. I had the delight of meeting her a few years ago when I was with a local Amateur Dramatics group in Dedham. She was with another member of the group who was also a retired teacher. She remembered me, and said she taught me all I knew about acting! She is certainly majorly responsible for my love of theatre and was a great influence that has stayed with me since.
