Cecil Gordon Headland, preferred name Gordon, born September 22nd 1927 passed away peacefully on 5th May 2025 age 97 years, at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham
Gordon was a dedicated family man, a loving husband to his late wife Margaret and a proud father to Sandra and John.
He was a Farmer for many years and his passion for Cricket led him to play for his local Cricket Club at Sutton on Trent.
He also had a passion for dancing which led to the introduction to his wife to be Margaret.
Gordon will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
The Cremation is to be held at Gedling Crematorium at 11am Wednesday 28th May 2025 followed by a gathering at the Robin Hood Inn, Lambley, Nott’s.

I have very fond memories of visiting my Grandparents farm when I was a young child. Whenever we came across Uncle Gordon and Bob, despite being hard at work, they were always cheerful and stopped to share a joke or a kind word with their young Nieces and Nephews.
