Barbara was a wonderful neighbour who looked after our cats on a regular basis. We played bridge regularly every week and always had a wonderful. She was an excellent player.We all miss her dreadfully. With wonderful memories of kindness and laughter. From Terry, Bryony and of course Caliie and Chloe. And previously Iolanthe and Poppy!)

To Farleigh Hospice, an excellent recipient of funds in commemoration of Barbara's name.

There was such a stillness and calm about Barbara - and such a sense of humour. It is very hard to realise she won't be here any more.
Years ago after a visit to the Wethersfield History Society together one very, very misty evening, I had to stop the car by the side of the road as we were laughing so much: neither of us was sure of the way home...which was practically invisible.
The funeral service contained some lovely moments; like her, it was full of fun and interest. She was a thoroughly admirable addition to so many lives. All good wishes to her children and grandchildren who will miss her most.

I will miss the conversations, the laughter, the non birthday teas and the friendship. I will still talk to you often so listen out.

Book Club will not be the same without Barbara's wonderful reviews!
