Dear Uncle Gordon.
I’ve many memories of growing up in your company. Mostly I will always remember the first time I had too much to drink and ended up with my first ever hangover. That was thanks to you liberally supplying me with Port and Lemon drinks at one of your wonderful New Year parties. Those parties will be forever etched in my memory, as will the hangover!
I always admired your garden. So many vegetables, plants and flowers so well tended. A garden to be proud of. You were an excellent gardener.
I hope you’re with all those from our families that have gone before and if so, please say hi to my dad and have a port and lemon for me. You will always be remembered with love and fondness by everyone that knew you.
With love
Kay xxxx
