Such a sad loss of a wonderful Aunt. Out of all my Aunts, she was by far my favourite. I loved our conversations & hearing all about her funny stories that she used to tell which always made me laugh, not being afraid of adding a few expletives into the mix.
I'm sorry I won't be there to bid a final farewell, but I will be attending remotely to pay my respects.
Rest in peace, Aunt Maureen, you will be greatly missed x

Such a sad loss of a lovely lady. I first met Maureen in a restaurant, not actually knowing who she was, as we met in the ladies & sparked up conversation (we both loved a chat). Turns out she was the aunt of my boyfriend & we were all out celebrating his mums (Maureen’s sister) birthday.
We always got on well, always having loads to talk about & she cared greatly about her family.
She leaves a huge void in peoples lives & I send my deepest condolences to those loved ones she has left behind
RIP Aunt Maureen x

I have heard lovely stories about Maureen and have had the blessing to meet Maureen's Son Phil, Daughter in law Jo and lovely Grandsons Jacob and Leo.
Maureen, the way that Jo and Phil speak about you show what a truly wonderful lady and Mum you were and just how loved you still are.

Maureen was a big part of my life, particularly when I was younger - she and mum were very close, being the 2 youngest of a large family
She used to visit us regularly, and I was always cheered up by the sound of her voice when she came in the front door - she was so positive and never failed to make you feel better with her amusing and often hilarious stories
Maureen was always there to offer help and support during difficult times - she was a constant in my life.
I will miss her so much

It is still sinking in and hard to accept, we had some lovely chats about everything. I loved hearing all the things you got up to years ago, i am so glad mum (Kit) took you under her wing during the war. Your love and kindness towards Joan has been immense which will never be forgotten. You are so loved and will leave a void in so many lives. Anita xxxxxx

I have so many wonderful memories of you Maureen. We had the best times working in the kitchen together. We never stopped laughing. You told the funniest stories, some unbelievable but I knew they were true. Spending time away from work with you was a privilege and I was lucky enough to do that recently, we had another lovely time. Everyone that met you loved you. You were so proud of your family, especially your grandchildren, always talking about them. We talked recently about the time you bought the wig and they saw you driving your little car past them and they didn’t recognise you 😂. I could write a book on you 🩷 You will be so missed by so many but you’ve left us all with the best memories. A total one off 🩷🩷🩷

With lots of happy memories of the 1 o'clock club, where we met and spent many years after with my children, Paul and Claire and sometimes lynne and Tony, their cousins.
I'll ever forget her happy go lucky attitude and the laughs we shared over the 50 years we knew each other.
I will miss her laughter (and swearing, especially about the establishment😂)
Claire adds:
I remember bike rides with Paul and philas children around Dulwich and Hornimans parks, eating flaky sausage rolls from the bakery on the park bench... 'hot pies or cold' 😂
Paul adds:
I remember rummaging through the bits and bobs kitchen drawer in the prefab to see what treasures I could discover😂
