In loving memory of Marjorie Pascoe who passed away peacefully at home, whilst with her family, on 3rd April 2025 aged 87 Years

Marjorie was the daughter of Roy and Mary Greenway and was born and brought up in Aberystwyth. She had one younger brother Trevor.

Marjorie met her husband John Pascoe while he was working in Aberystwyth . They married at St Michael’s church in Aber on 14th February 1959.

Gary was born in 1960 and John in 1961. A promotion for John meant the family moved to Bridgend in 1963. They moved into their new house in Litchard where they would live until the 1990’s.

In 1967 they lost a daughter whose name was Elizabeth. In 1968 Julie was born to complete their family.

Raising the family meant Marjorie had a few different part time jobs until in 1981 she took up the role of nursing assistant at Glanrhyd hospital in Bridgend. Nursing is something she had always wanted to do..

On retirement Marjorie and John moved to live in Spain where they enjoyed 10 very happy years before moving back to the UK in 2014 to be near their daughter and family in Ipswich.

Marjorie became a member of Burlington Baptist church and enjoyed a happy and active social life with lots of new friends.

She loved all her grandchildren: Zoe, Lee, Nick, Gemma, Philippa, Aled and Jacob
And her great grandchildren: Lucy, Tyler, Cohen, Hallie, Jude, Jenson and Tobias.

She is survived by John, Trevor, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who will all miss her dearly.

A privilege to have known Marjorie in her later years. She blessed so many people.

Eileen Brind donated £30 in memory of Marjorie

Although we hadn't seen each other in many years we kept in touch with the occasional email.
When I was young I have fond memories of visiting Aber during summer holidays. Being a bit younger than Marge and Trevor, they always had the job of looking after me but I never heard any complaints.
Marge always had a ready smile and a good word. RIP dear cousin.
With love,
Eileen and Alan

Sending much my deepest condolence to Julie, her Dad and brothers. And the rest of the family. I remember Marjorie as a wonderful, funny, strong woman that opened her home to me with warmth and no question. Such trust and love was essential for me to experience as a teenager, spending so much time with her family. I'll never forget her smile and laugh. I'm sure all that she shared still resonates through today. What a great life full of love she must have had. xxx
