In loving memory of Brian Podmore who sadly passed away on 22nd March 2025, aged 75 years. Advisory Teacher for IT in the 'Western Area' for many years helping numerous staff and pupils in Suffolk Schools get to grips with the use of technology in the curriculum. A serious model railway enthusiast, keen photographer and latterly enthusiastic gardener. He will be greatly missed, particularly by his wife, Anna.

Hi Anna, I don’t know what made me look up Brian’s name but I’d been chatting to an old colleague from college today and she had met someone she’d been at school with many years ago, I still send a card to Rosie who started at the same time as Brian and I, the three of us, anyway, I saw that there were three BPs on FB but none were Brian so I just googled his name and saw a Brian had passed away in April this year, another site from the funeral guide had his photo, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, I am so sorry Anna, I really liked Brian and he helped me go in the right direction when I was really fed up with things at Elm St, now Elm Wood. I was so glad he got his promotion and followed his own path. He was a very innovative teacher who did a lot in the short time he was at school. I followed him on the secondment trail to Lancaster Uni where I also got the diploma, thanks to Brian. I am sorry to ramble but it was just a shock, such a lovely photo of him too. I just wanted to send you my condolences and let you know how much I thought of him, hence the looking up of his name today. I hope that you and your family are ok and that this gets to you. Yours. Elaine
