In loving memory of Frances Mary Yates who sadly passed away on 30th January 2025 in Canterbury, Kent.

Frances lived in Gravesend Kent until 1968, when she qualified as a nurse and nursed in hospitals in Banstead and Carshalton Surrey, before moving to Jersey and then Leeds. After she gave up nursing in 1972, she worked for ASDA in their Head Office until 1986.

Frances then moved back to Gravesend after her father died in 1986, where she looked after her mother until her mother's death in 2013. Frances remained in Gravesend until ill health meant she could no longer look after herself and was placed in a nursing home in Canterbury in October 2024.

Throughout her life Frances loved her cats who were with her in Leeds and then Gravesend until 2024.

Frances was particularly fond of walking the Yorkshire moors and of Dorset.

I remeber this special lady in the gym/spin days.
Always had a smile on her face and time for everyone from all walks in life.
I never realised she was a nurse. Says it all. A special soul lost from this world.
Will always remember you. God bless xxx
