So sad to lose a wonderful brother in law who has always taken time to stay in touch and also be a great uncle to Luke and Kirsty. We were delighted he shared our wedding day and have happy memories of Dave dancing wearing his Cornish kilt.
Love

Only met Dave a couple of times but immediately thought he was a great guy with his wonderfully organised charity raffles and quizzes. We are only sorry he never got to run one for us at The Old School Inn one more Race Night .... he will be and is greatly missed by all who knew him. Lizi and Colin

Thinking of you today Dave and all you did for the village and how you told me about the shells on our windowsills. Go in peace. My thoughts also with Gill and your family.

I will greatly miss my Uncle Dave, he always made the effort to call and stay connected. I have so many wonderful childhood memories like our train trips to Tattenham Corner and his care and continual interest in my life will never be forgotten.

We were very sad to learn Dave had been so unwell and has passed away. We did not know Dave well, but we will remember him for his kindness and calm way, and particularly his support with music and tech at the theatre productions at the village hall.

What and excellet guy, I only saw him in action a few times in the village hall when he ran various auctions for charity and also the raffle for the Womans Institute food and produce show.
A very warm hearted man with exellently amusing easy going way with banter.
It's no wonder that he was loved by so many here at North Hill.

Dave was North Hill Santa for 5 years. He loved giving out presents to the children in the parish as well as a visit to Springfield House Residential Care Home. He was a big supporter of North Hill.

The loss of a best mate is heartbreaking. I've known Dave for over 25 years and Was introduced to him as having a brain injury (true) and might be a bit strange (not quite true). He taught me so much in the world of computers and he went from being a colleague to a great friend very quickly. He visited us in Mill Hill and came to my 50th birthday party. We visited him at least once a year in his home county of Cornwall missing visits only during Covid. I regret not seeing him in 2024 because I wasn't well.

I remember very well Dave driving Ann and I to the Eden Project in August 2006 and he was bursting with excitement to tell us that he had met this lovely lady called Gill and he couldn't wait for us to meet her.

We went to his wedding, at a location that was typically Dave. It was in an underground cavern by a lake and very romantic.

David will be missed. I will miss him introducing me as his dad! I will miss his banter. I will miss his generous nature. Most of all I will miss his genuine friendship.
