It was really sad to hear of Ashley's passing. I got to know him over the past 12 years whilst living opposite Thorne at Guiford House. He was certainly a Pembrokeshire man and reminded me of many characters from my home village of Llangwm.
I will be eternally grateful to Ashley for his help with family history
research, proving that we were in fact distant relatives.
My sincere sympathy to Grace and family.
