Sad to hear of Brian's passing. I've known him all my life. I remember as a young boy when he worked out of the tiny shed and how people said when he built the current garage how big it was. He was always so helpful and we have bought many cars over the years.
Brian was the mainstay of village life and did so much for the village, the hall and the church.
Unfortunately we were away so unable to attend the funeral. I last saw Brian a few months ago driving Rita around one Sunday afternoon. He stopped and as always had time for a chat and asked how the family was etc. I'm sure he will be greatly missed by his family, staff and pretty much the whole area. RIP a great man.

Brian was an absolute gem of a man. From the warm welcome he gave us when we moved to North Hill, he was so kind and helpful to us over the 7 years we lived in the village. Brian gave so much to the community, he will be sorely missed. We wish Rita and his beautiful family heartfelt condolences for their loss.
