Steve, I was devastated and heartbroken when I heard that I had lost such a very good and true friend.
We saw each other through some very tough times, talking and listening and we both came out the other end of it with much happier lives. You always talked about your kids and I always reassured you that you would do right by them - and you did which made me a very proud friend. You did your utmost to be the best dad and find your happy place.
Your loss is felt by so many which shows how much you were truly loved and respected.
I will miss your 6 monthly 'oi are you alive' messages. I'm so sorry that you had to go my friend. My heart will forever be broken but I will smile whenever I think of you. See you on the other side. RIP Big Steve, you gentle funny giant xxx

A handsome gentle giant with a big heart. We have all had experiences with you in your life. My thoughts are with Naomi, Katie, Lexie and Leo along with other family members and loved ones attending your funeral today. You will always have a jigsaw piece of my heart Steve.
