Madeline Jean Gammie (3 Mar 1946 - 30 Oct 2024)

I don't know if you remember me. I used to come to tonbridge with pupils during the holidays and I stayed with Madeline when you were kids. Sarah came to France once and stayed with my niece. I'm trying to get into contact with you not knowing if this message will reach you.
I phoned your mother, as she didn't reply I had a feeling. I read her obituary. I knew she suffered from cancer. I'm so sad that she left you and all the people she loved and who loved her. My sincere condoleances. My email if you want to get in touch and tell me more about her last days. Benny

I was in awe of the courage and love in the tributes of Madeline’s children - a wonderful testament to her and to the spirit of life. It was a privilege to hear them - we are thinking of you.

I had the chance of living at Madeline's for a few years. It feels unreal thinking she is not physically there anymore but her kindness, humour and strength will be with me for a long time. I send a lot of love to her and her family, I'm thinking about them in these tough times
