"You may not be able to join us
to celebrate your birthday
But we have not forgotten even
though you have gone away
We think about you often in many
little ways
Not just now on your birthday
but on many other days"

Denise, no words could ever express how much you have touched my life and how much you mean to me. You have been like another mother to me but at the same time my best friend, you have been such a huge part of everything I do, sad times, happy times and downright crazy times, you have been mine and Neils number one supporter as foster carers and took each baby we have cared for into your heart, never missing anyone's birthday. Thank you so much for being jade and Lucy's aunty Denise, they have been blessed to have you, you have been there for every show, every achievement, every problem and they loved you like a grandma and they promise that they will carry on making you proud as they continue to grow up. Thank you very much for coming joing me at brownies as my snowy owl, you can to help one week loved it and then never left, bringing our biscuits/drinks, presents and prizes every single week but never taking the money back from subs, you really were the best most loving and giving leader and the girls adored you and will miss you greatly. Thank you for all the lovely times we've shared together from me being a child to growing and having my own family, Pontins southport will always hold special memories for me and we promise Michael will continue to come along with us, we will always be there for him and will continue to meet up weekly so you can see the girls growing up through his eyes like you told us you would. Thank you so much for 22 years of happiness, friendship and unconditional love, we don't know how we will be able to carry on without you, I so wish I could pick up the phone for a chat or pick you up from work on Mondays and see what you had bought the girls and baby this week from the charity shops, but please know that we will keep strong and will always carry you everywhere we go in our hearts, love you always and forever love from Diana x
