I had the pleasure of working with Ed for several years in the 90s and afterwards we kept in touch to socialise - spending several Xmas and NYEs together. I last saw him a few months ago at a gig so my last memories before he "changed his cosmic address" are good ones. Only heard about the funeral arrangements today so sorry not to make it. Condolences to all his family. My wife Jane and I will remember all the good and extremely silly times we spent with him.
