In loving memory of Sheila Joy Elisak who sadly passed away on 22nd April 2024
Sheila was an amazing lady who was involved in lots of local groups. Since she retired from teaching, she had been chairwoman of LANBARA and the secretary of the local family history society.
She leaves behind lots of very happy memories of time spent with family and friends . She was much loved and will be greatly missed .

Angela Head donated in memory of Sheila

Thank you Sheila for sweet memories of family gatherings where your love and friendship were always evident in your smile.

I worked with Sheila for many years at The Brent Primary school.I have fond memories of her whilst working on the many concerts and performances given by the children at the school. The children would also laugh at Sheila's many attempts to play the piano!
Although I haven't seen her for many years I will never forget her kind support.
Rest in peace

Our lasting memories of Sheila date back to 1966 when we first met as neighbours in Swanley. Our continued close friendship with both Sheila, Harry and family will always be with us and never forgotten. Most memorable were our visits to each others houses, even after we both moved to different locations, to test out and enjoy numerous culinary delights, accompanied by a number of glasses of red wine. Our thoughts are with the family today. Rest in peace Sheila.

In memory of Sheila a good friend for 64 years. We met as next door neighbours both in our first houses and very soon to have our first child at about the same time. She was good company and we have many happy memories of those days of growing families and all the joys of new houses, new gardens and life generally. We have never forgotten early one Sunday morning when our 3 year old younger son managed to lock the rest of the family in the front bedroom and then couldn't menage to unlock the door. What to do? We managed to contact Sheila and Harry through the bedroom wall and after a fairly complicated operation Sheila managed to rescue us. Great hilarity all round!! Subsequently we moved to the Midlands but met up from time to time, always enjoyable occasions. We will always remember you Sheila. R.I.P.

Dear Sheila
You were a delightful lady to know and a Joy to work with on the Lanbara Committee - your company was always appreciated on the many holidays and days out - and I recall you ‘picking’ a flower in the White Garden at Kensington Palace!! May you rest in peace.

Dear Sheila, what a long struggle you had and you bore it so bravely. I think of you every time I see rabbits as when we travelled alongside in a coach I would spot them, but you never did. In the end you thought I was making it up! Such a lovely, helpful and wise lady. You were truly appreciated and admired. RIP

I first met Sheila when she taught our children in the local primary school in 1980 then became her colleague in 1988. I appreciated her support and encouragement as we worked together in the same year group. I have many happy memories of that time especially the concerts and shows we put on with the children, they were fun! I may have lost touch over the years but will remember her kindness and her gift of teaching. Our thoughts go to all the family. Rest in peace.

Sheila was a great friend since 1987 when we first met as colleagues. Sheila was always there with a helping hand and thoughtful advice. Outside work we spent so many happy times and even ventured to Ypres together, a small pilgrimage Sbeila wanted to achieve. Sheila has left us but not from our hearts. Rest in peace.
