In loving memory of Jean Jackson (nee Sproston) who sadly passed away on 13th April 2024 . Loving Mother to Susan and Keith, caring Mother-in-law to Tim and Sally. Proud Grandmother to Josh, Ben and Honor. Aunty, friend and surrogate granny to many who loved her dearly. Jean was fit and healthy, living independently until 2nd April. A short stay in hospital brought about an untimely death just 9 days before her 94th birthday. Her happy demeanour, kind words and smile will be very sorely missed by her family, friends and everyone who knew her.
The funeral will be at Randalls Park Crematorium Leatherhead KT22 0AG Wednesday 1 May 16:15 with a Celebration of Jean’s life at Woodland Park Hotel Cobham KT11 3QB 17:00. All are welcome. Wear happy clothes that make you feel good. Please confirm your attendance. Flowers will be from the family, but please feel free, but not obliged to make a donation to one of Jeans favourite charities.

I have very fond memories of you when I was growing up and really enjoyed the family get togethers when we were all young. It was so lovely that you always remembered birthdays and anniversaries, even when I forgot.

What can I say you are going to be missed by all of us , I am really going to miss our telephone conversations, you took me under your wing when my mum was ill, and supported us with all the difficult decisions we had to make, I will never forget that. You are so kind to Michael and Eloise, and always took interest in what they were up to. We are so glad you were able to stay with independent living and only had a short illness. We will always remember you with great fondness and love and we know that now you are with the Angels, Eric and Keith and all your other friends and family that have gone before you. Every time we look above, we will be thinking of you. RIP, with all our love from pain Paul, Michael and Eloise
