Charles, you were one of the most amazing, educated, knowledgeable and articulate person of words who I respected that I had the fortune to have met. We talked a week before you left us. You said that I could come and visit you at home, however I never got around to it. My sad loss. Rest in peace and rise in power with your ancestors.

Dear Charles, we never did get to meet up for lunch. This was the last time I had the pleasure of bumping into you. I always enjoyed exchanging texts with you. Thanks always for sending me in the direction of the Schomburg Center. RIP my friend x
