In loving memory of Sandra Coupland 'Mum', 'Nana' and 'Neenar' who sadly passed away on 29th March 2024, leaving behind a loving husband, son, 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. As she moves on to join the loved ones who departed before her, she will in turn, be dearly missed by all her family and the many friends she made during her wonderful life.
Sandra delighted and thoroughly enjoyed life, she loved music and dancing, the theatre and took great delight in her many holidays abroad.
Along with her husband Bob, she was frequently the first on the dance floor and would dazzle friends and family with an amazing jive.
Sandra’s love of clothing, and fashion was often reflected in the gifts she gave to all, frequently designing and making amazing outfits for the younger members of the family.
Any thoughts of Sandra would simply be remiss if they did not remember the pleasure she took in her holidays and sharing those holidays with friends and family. Her visits and revisits to favourite international haunts would see her meeting new people, who would soon become friends, who would invariably return to enjoy each other’s company year after year, and making Turunc in Turkey practically a second home.
A private cremation service will take place on Friday 26th April. The small and personal ceremony will by invitation only. The family would appreciate your adherence. Sandra fought off Cancer in her latter years, and wanted contributions to be made to “Cancer Research UK” in lieu of flowers.
