In loving memory of Stephen James "Sprouty" Russell who sadly passed away on 8th April 2024, aged 70 years
The family wish to announce the sad passing of Steve at Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth. Beloved husband, soul mate and best friend to Sheila, a much loved and cherished Dad and Bampy who will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Stephen is resting in the care of Lyndsay Ellis @ The Vale Funeral Service, Court Road, Barry until his service at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry on Thursday 2nd May at 2:00pm
The wake will be held at Brynhill Golf Club straight after the service. Everyone is welcome to join the family there to raise a toast or three to this wonderful, optimistic man and to reminisce and remember the good life he shared with his family and friends.
Family flowers only, donations if desired may be made at this tribute page or during the service to support Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth in memory of Stephen

We feel blessed to have had you as our close friend for many years.
The four of us had great times on our breaks away and catchup evenings where we would put the world to rights and laugh the night away.

Me and Tim only met you a few times.It would have been nice to get to know you properly. Sheila has said what a great husband and father you were and how brave you were during your illness.We will definitely be keeping in touch with Sheila .
