In loving memory of Wendy Aitken who so sadly passed away on Tuesday 2nd April 2024 aged 54.

A beautiful lady absolutely adored by all. Our Mum always had a beaming smile that we know everyone will remember. Kind, caring and with a warm heart, Mum looked after everyone before herself. She truly was a wonderful lady loved by so many.

We invite you to celebrate our lovely Mum and her life on Tuesday 7th May 2024. This will be held at St George's Church in Deal at 11am. After the service, you are welcome to join us at the Glass Room for light refreshments. The Glass Room is located at Betteshanger Park, Deal CT14 0BF. This venue has indoor seating and outdoor space.

In memory of our beautiful Mum who always dressed in colour, we'd like to inform that black attire is not essential. The family will be attending in coloured attire in one way or another and invite you to join us if you wish.

Flowers and charity donations are welcome. The family have chosen The Pilgrims Hospice for donations who supported and cared for our beautiful Mum in Ashford over her final days. A JustGiving donation page can be found on this profile. Alternatively, charity donations will kindly be accepted on the day.

If you would like to send flowers ahead of the day, please send these to the Funeral Directors, W.J.Farrier & Son LTD, 161 London Rd, Dover CT17 0TG. After the service, we will be transporting the flowers to where Wendy will be laid to rest.

Please note it is not required to press 'Attend Funeral' on this profile to join us.

Thank you for all your support and kind messages.

So very sad for Jess, Ellie and Sam who have lost their greatest and first love. Wendy was a tower of strength and comfort to many people and truly loved by many. Everyone who met Wendy will always remember her smile and the kindness that radiated from her.
