A message from Janet Keir: Audrey was a dear friend. She only lived four doors from me and I used to see her every other Tuesday for a cup of tea and a biscuit. I was unable to see her in the nursing home, but would send her written cards with any news of anything going on. She will be missed. Best wishes to her family.

We enjoyed many happy times sharing stories of Audrey’s tailoring days. She was keen to hear about my daughter’s fashion projects.
