In loving memory of Una Lynam Price who sadly passed away on 14th March 2024
Una lived a full life spending over 50 years working with children in Coulsdon Nursery and Salford Schools. In her spare time she loved her dancing and yoga classes and delving into the family histories of both sides of her family. She also met men who had been prisoners of the Japanese with her father in Saigon in the second world war and even travelled to the far east to trace their wartime journeys. She supported husband Roger in his many railway activities and travelled with him to Africa, India, China, Sri Lanka and most European countries usually associated with railways!
Una made many friends in her life and this is evident from the many sympathy cards and proposed attendance at her funeral service.
Most of all she cared for her family members particularly her twin brother Tony and his family.
She left the family home in Redhill where she had lived for 65 years in May 2023 and moved to Reigate with Roger and pet cat Poppy but ill health meant that she never appreciated her new surroundings spending much time in hospital in the last year.

A friend for life, almost 57 years of friendship and so many wonderful memories of our college days and working together and then a lifetime of friendship. Dear Una so sorry I am unable to come to your service, although I will view the on line service. Unfortunally I moved to the south west just over 2 weeks ago. We worked together for nearly 20years at Coulsdon Nursery,and we enjoyed the time with the children having lots of adventures along the way.
You always kept in touch and I will miss your news.
