In loving memory of Prabhu Kar who sadly passed away peacefully on 17th February 2024.
The family would like to thank you for all the kind thoughts and messages of support given over the loss of Prabhu.
The funeral service will be held at Randalls Park Crematorium, Randalls Road, Leatherhead, Surrey KT22 0AG at 2.00pm on Thursday 18th April 2024.
They warmly invite you to attend a reception after the service for light refreshments at The Derby and The Oaks rooms, RAC Woodcote Park, Wilmerhatch Lane, Epsom, Surrey KT18 7EW from 3.00 to 6.00pm.
In place of flowers, they have asked you to consider donations in Prabhu’s memory to a charity he loved, Second Sight, via the 'Second Sight Donations Page' link on this page, or donations direct to the charity via their bank details:

He was such a kind, gentle and special friend to our family and will be missed very much. His twinkling eyes and joyful chuckle remain in our memory. Dear Meera Aunty, Pranam! Well done to you and ALL involved in setting up and completing a very fitting farewell to dear Prabhu Uncle. The music was profound and moving. The speeches were all just perfect. The photos that were shown spoke countless words. The words spoken about Uncle were a reminder of how to live one’s best life and hunt happiness & joy for our kith & kin. Love Sandeep, Viola, Shiv & Kala.

We were so sorry to hear that wonderful Dr. Kar has passed away. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. I am so grateful to him for looking after me throughout my childhood. I have very fond memories of him and times our families shared together. It was good to see you last month although wish it was for a happier occasion. Our families have both suffered a huge loss but our fathers will live on through us and their grandchildren.
