In loving memory of Eddie Holyoake who sadly passed away on 25th February 2024 age 82 at West Cliff Hall Care Home, Hythe.
A loving husband, Dad, Granddad and Uncle, a dear friend to all who knew him.
He will be fondly remembered for his love of gardening and sense of humour, smiling to the end.

EDDIE, my friend,
Eddie was a lovely old rascal who had the ability to keep smiling whilst suffering constant pain for years.
A loss that took a marked toll on Eddie was when Roy Rolle passed away as they had been constant friends since childhood, and Roy had been the butt of Eddie's jokes for years, albeit in a nice sort of way.
Eddie was a people person, always ready for a chat and willing to help whenever he could. It really hurt him when he was forced to give up his gardening jobs because of constant pain. He had such a good relationship with his customers. He would do any additional tasks asked of him, such as helping one old lady out of the bath when she realised she couldn't get out on her own. What a Gentleman!
Eddie was first and foremost a family man, and his many customers were all part of his extended family.
I feel I am a better person for having known him.
