Bob was so very loved and will be so very missed by Julie, Lucy, Nick, Matt, Rosie, Maya and all his friends and family.

Bob was a part of three of the best years of my life, spent at Aber, and a stalwart member of our ‘Ceredigion Family’. I remember how nothing seemed to faze him, as well as his perfect sardonic sense of humour, which never wasted a word. I also remember him as a superb No.8, in the middle, alongside Wynf & Doug, of one of the best back rows I ever played alongside. It was a privilege. God Bless, Bob

I worked with Robert at SMMT for nearly 2 decades and we were also South Croydon buddies. He was a lovely man, larger than life, really funny and so so clever - he left a big Robert-shaped hole in the office when he retired and we speak about him often. My condolences to his family.

The first time I met Bob was in 1977 and we were very young. In this photo it was the last time I met him in 2019: he was still very young. A great memory of him!
