In loving memory of Deacon Charlie Bianco who sadly passed away on 18th February 2024.
A loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Charlie passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones after a short battle with an aggressive stomach cancer.
He was a wonderful person, full of life, loved cooking, including dishes from his home country, Malta. He was popular within the family for his tasty Maltese meatballs and baked macaroni! He loved the old style comedy, Norman Wisdom, the Two Ronnies and Morecombe and Wise, some sports and the Arsenal football team.
He loved singing and playing his guitar and often gathered the grandchildren together in their younger years to create a band with musical instruments, pots and pans and spoons!
Charlie was The Deacon of Light to his parishioners and all who knew him, to us, he was our father, to the world he was but a part but to us he was all the world. God Bless and RIP Dad, you will be forever in our hearts.

With my deepest sympathy to the Bianco family for your loss

God saw you getting tired

and a cure was not to be

so he put his arms around you

and whispered,

“Come to Me”

With tearful eyes we watched you

and saw you pass away

and although we love you dearly

we could not make you stay.

A Golden heart stopped beating

hard working hands at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.
