Some early memories of special times spent with Rob
Home made go karts to test up the park,
Playing football until it got dark.
Hours in the garden, rain or shine,
Action man suspended from the washing line
Sliding on cardboard down the Darland Banks,
Suspected of stealing two army tanks!
As Rob always said, we made our own fun,
No computer games, just a stick for a gun.
Bangers exploding in the coal shed wall,
Working together on the candy floss stall.
The Cosy Nook and the 'Regent C' band,
Rob's badly aimed dart stuck in my hand.
Working down the Vineries with Ernie and co,
The crossing gates prang causing traffic to slow.
A family man who just loved his job,
This pretty much sums up my big brother, Rob.
