Sadly after a brief illness, surrounded by family, on February 8th aged 81 years, Cathie (née Goundry). The loving wife of George, much-loved mam of Wayne, David and dear mother-in-law of Julie and Michelle, special nana of Jack and good friend of many. Forever in our hearts.

Family and friends please meet on Thursday February 29th for service in Independent Methodist Church, Easington Lane at 10:45am, committal to follow in Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for the work of the church. A donation box will be available in the church. Please join the family afterwards in the church hall for refreshments. A further celebration will be held in Houghton Golf Club after these refreshments.
