Peter, my brother
I shall miss you, and though we were not great corresponders I shall miss
you in my life. Indeed, we both will as John and I were recipients of many
generous gestures and gifts from you over the years.
May your spirit rest in peace.
Jane (Pauline)

Peter was a mine of information, I am grateful for his kindness to me when I first started in my solo career in coins, and was always amazed by his extraordinary Knowledge.

On behalf of everyone at Teddington Hockey Club, please accept our condolences - I briefly met Peter when I joined in the early 80s and he made me so very welcome. We also exchanged various lovely letters in the last few years which I will bring along to share.

From all the comments from his friends at the Club, he was popular and a good man to have as a friend.

He also put a huge amount of time as a volunteer into various key roles, ensuring the Club remained in good health and that’s one of the many reasons he became a Vice President of the Club.

Thank you Peter from everyone at THC.

Gavin Cookman
