John Shaw was a GP based at the Hatchlands Road practice, Redhill, from 1963 until his retirement in 1997, being managing partner of this practice from 1985. He previously studied at St John’s College, Cambridge, joining the Medical College of St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 1953. John was a very caring and much loved member of the local community.

John was a talented musician, and had a passion for books and literature.

Consistently calm and kind by nature, John is deeply missed by all his family and loved ones.
