In loving memory of Yvonne Gilbert a most beautiful soul who sadly passed away on 1st February 2024. Much loved mum, sister, nanny, great granny, aunty, partner and friend, she will be eternally missed by all who knew her.
The funeral service is to be held at West Wiltshire Crematorium, Semington on Thursday 22nd February at 13.15pm, after which everyone is welcome to join the family at the conservative club in Devizes to help celebrate her life.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu will go towards Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer's Society, links to donate are below.
Mum loved colour, please feel free to wear colour if you wish, there's no set dress code.

When mum used to keep us warm with blankets and tuck us in at night, with icicles growing on the inside of windows. When mum used to sew and make our dresses always to match. When mum looked after our other family members, always a listening ear and a support. When mum dreamed of new beginnings. When mum helped others in need, giving advice and support. When mum used to paint beautiful pictures. When mum was so gifted with her artistic talent we all appreciated it. When mum loved her garden and grew what she could grow (in a north facing garden). When mum stroked our foreheads when we were ill. When mum could only use hypoallergenic makeup with a little blue on the lids. When mum helped us with the children. When mum looked at us with her beautiful green eyes. When mum saw us for who we are. Always in my heart mum. I love you xxxx Jesus has taken your hand.
