My old mate and surrogate brother John MacKenzie's second flying visit, we don't have photos of the first. We had a drink and good catch-up at the Jolly Tars Wetherspoons pub in Cleavleys, Blackpool 31st October 2023. We swapped hats for the photo.

The day you all moved to Shirley Avenue changed my life for the better, not only did I make a best friend for life in Ross, but I also adopted a second family, and John was always there to give advice, and would always look out for me. The fact we shared a birthday, always meant I had no excuse to forget wishing him a happy birthday. You will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have you in their life John.
