Dear Marilyn, it is with great sadness that I write these few words to you. Although I barely knew you, you made an everlasting and instant impact; and I/we will never forget you. You were a beacon of goodness throughout; which shone for all to see. You raised three wonderful children who continue to share your legacy with us; and in turn, pass this on to your grandchildren, and beyond. Rest in Peace Dear Marilyn...with much LOVE, John, Malin, Devin, and Bowie (Smallcombe) xxxx

Good friends for 62 years. Over 2 decades our lives were very much entwined until life took us down different paths. We remained in touch & met up whenever possible. I shall miss you my “brave” friend.

I met Marilyn at Maryville Convent School in Welling, Kent. She and her friends welcomed me into their group and we went dancing every week. My parents and Marilyn's parents became friends. We had a wonderful time together and I will never forget her love of fun. My heartfelt condolences to all her family.
