Louise Dorrington (8 Jan 1963 - 25 Jan 2024)

Anne Louise was born in Khartoum Sudan on the 8 January 1963 , the first daughter (of three) of Mike and Helen Kendrick.
By the time louise arrived in Dorking she had transitioned from Anne to Anne Louise and then to Louise. Louise was educated in Dorking from 1974 at Ashcombe School, just round the corner from the family home in Croft Avenue achieving very good results at examinations.
Louise later worked for ERA Technology, of Leatherhead, for Brian and Barry and then secured promotion to Watson Wyatt Actuaries of Reigate working for Gordon, one of the main board partners.
Louise met Grahame on the 13 August 1983 and were married at St Martins on the 14 September 1985.We were fortunate to be able to live in Reigate and appreciate Cafe Rouge on a regular basis.
Sophie was born in 2002 and has grown into a beautiful 21 year old in her final year at Bournemouth University.
Louise was diagnosed with secondary progressive Multiple Sclerosis in 2014, and was by then needing increasing levels of care and was living in sheltered accommodation in Bookham.
Louise died peaceably at her home on Thursday 25 January 2024, in accordance with her wishes, without the need for any meds, with District Nurse Debbie, the live in Carer Elena, and Grahame at her bedside with Sophie and the visiting carer Evelyn close by.

We wish to raise funds for MS Trust to make further progress in finding meds that can in time I hope reverse this uncompromising disease.
