On 14th January 2024, suddenly at his home in Mirfield, aged 82 years, David, loving husband and soul mate for 61 years to Dorothy, much-loved dad of Nikki and Richard, grandad of Joe, Hannah, Kirsty, Molly and Ben and great grandad of Teddy, Biba and Clemmie, also a dear father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. David will be remembered with love by all the family. Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Friday 9th February 2024 at 10.30am. Friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Dave may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of Breast Cancer Now.

I’m really sorry that I won’t be able to travel to Yorkshire for David’s funeral because of work.
He was a lovely man with a giant personality and I send the very best wishes to all his family and friends. I have some lovely memories that have been spent with David and Dorth.
He will be missed, Laura, Isaac & Camille xxx
