Extremely sad to have belatedly heard of Alan's passing. Will always remember with a smile times we shared in the 'Fort', the 'Lilliput' and the dairy. Good times, happy times. Sorry we lost touch.

Dear Alan, 30 years you was apart of my life, I have so many memories of you, especially when I would come over to see my mum, you was always happy, always smiled even at difficult times, you was hard working and a good old fashioned Gentleman, a generation of men that is sadly fading. 5 years ago when you fell ill, I held your hand in hospital thinking you wasn't gonna get over it but you did, you had a strong character. Sadly your day did come and it was a shock as it was so quick, I will always remember your big smile, your laugh, your warmth, your love for my mum. I will miss you and think about you always, you can rest now Alan, sleep tight, lots of love always, Danny, Xxx
