In loving memory of Mary Diana Myers who sadly passed away on 21st December 2023.
Funeral service: 14:00 Wednesday 7th February 2024 at St James Church by the park, 133 Church Street, Shirley, Southampton, SO15 5LW. Mum loved bright colours, and it was her wish that anyone coming to the service to celebrate her life should be dressed brightly if they can.
Wake: To follow the service 7th February 2024 The Ship Inn, 41 Old Redbridge Road, Southampton SO15 0NN.
Burial: 11:00 Thursday 8th February 2024, at The South Downs Natural Burial Site, The Sustainability Centre, Droxford Road, East Meon, Petersfield, Hampshire, GU32 1HR.
Please be aware that the natural burial site has no formal paving and is not suited to anyone requiring mobility aids. The ground is uneven, moderately hilly, and is at least a ten minute walk from the car park. It is best suited to stout walking shoes. If wet it is likely to be slippery under foot.

Mary aka Rowen was a volunteer with us at the 9th Southampton City Scout Group and she helpped changed lives and create memories with all our young people and adult volunteers. I feel privileged to have worked with Mary during my time at the group and have many fond memories of our time in Scouting and her snakes that scared me very often... thank you Mary! Your fellow beaver scout leader 'Sycamore' xx
