In loving memory of Catherine Woodcock who sadly passed away on 13th December 2023, aged 58 years. Loved and missed by all her family and friends.

Such a loving and kind soul she has touched many peoples hearts and brought many joyful memories to us all. There is nothing that can replace the void that she leaves behind however I wanted to share with you the legacy she leaves with us.

Catherine faced many challenges through her life, including her battle against cancer. Throughout all of it she was resilient to what ever life threw at her and steadfast in the two most important things to her, faith and a deep love for all people.

Although we will grieve her loss please know that her legacy continues in all our hearts through the friendship and love we will give others.

Her podcast interview discussing her faith and the cancer diagnosis can be found here:

Catherine was a wonderful woman and teacher and it's a great loss that she is now gone. I don't think we'd met a stronger, more positive woman and it was a pleasure to have known and worked with her for many years.

Childhood friends, fun times, mischief makers & always the last names in maths test results to be read out. What a friend to me Catherine was during those secondary school years. We had plans to meet up in the summer of ‘22 & catch up on the intervening years where young families, busy working lives, distance and then ill health took their toll, so sadly that did not happen. My heartfelt condolences go out to Woody & the whole family. Catherine will be hugely missed by so many. Sleep well in Paradise, friend.

The most precious memory of Catherine for me,being a bridesmaid at her wedding was such a privilege. A wonderful day full of love & laughter. We were friends throughout our teenage years & into the early years of married life. Our loss is heavens gain. X

My deepest condolences to Catherine's family and friends. To know Catherine first as her student and then as her colleague was nothing short of a privilege. Her light-hearted personality was evident, always. You were so much more than a teacher or a colleague, you were a mentor, an open heart, and an open mind. Thank you for everything.
