Dearest Auntie Brenda,
Thank you for the love and support that you gave me after my Dad died. It brought us closer together, and I was/am immensely grateful for
that. My dad absolutely adored you, his big sister, and he spoke of you with such love, as did you him. I loved hearing about those times when he got lost in the dark night fishing down Yalding, and he’d have to find the nearest phone box to call on you and Michael to drive down and rescue him. Thank you for the most wonderful Boxing Day’s - they are, truly, some of my most treasured childhood memories. And let’s not forget the Ludgrove girls’ day outs and pie and mash lunches - thank you for those times. I’ll miss you very much, but will take comfort from my belief that you are at peace now and reunited with your loved ones. May your soul sing and dance, dearest Brenda. Xx
