Bernie was born in Dominica 90 years ago and travelled to the UK when he was 25. He married his first wife Chris, and had 3 children - Ian, David and Linda. After they divorced he met Joan, and they were married until her death in 2006. He had 3 step children, Neal, Tony and Debs. He sadly lost his middle son David to cancer, who was survived by his wife Sue. He was Grandfather to Matthew, Kelsey and Ciaran, and Uncle Bern to Richard, Andrew and Sarah.
Bernie was such a happy man, who enjoyed his life to the full. He made everything fun, and everyone who met him loved him. He was the life and soul everywhere he went, and was still calling the bingo the week before he passed.
He will be missed.
