My dearest Ali. It’s your birthday today, and oh how I wish you were here to give you another big hug, though I’d struggle to let you go this time! Now I can only feel your love in my heavy heart. A heavy heart that is so full of love and admiration for you, which I will gladly carry for the rest of my life. And today I will raise a glass to you and make a toast to the wonderful times we had, bringing back the best memories - you have given me some wonderful memories to cherish and I will never forget them, nor stop talking about them! You will be forever in my thoughts. 🦋🐝🌻

Ali, you are missed every day, your wicked sense of humour, your determination and your quiet resolve to ‘carry on regardless’. Truly an inspirational woman, a wonderful friend and a sporting superhero. I’ll never forget those yellow wellies matched with shorts a hoodie and a hat! Great camping trips, re-building the decking in the garden, paddle boarding and falling in. See you on the other side, love ya, Sherry, Mandy and Harrison x
