In loving memory of Val Hyde who sadly passed away on 7th December 2023
Valerie Kathleen Williams was born in Southampton to Walt and Margaret Williams on 4th March 1939. She married Wade Hyde in 1971 and moved to Yorkshire living in Scholes and then Shepley in Huddersfield. She had a daughter, Caroline, in 1973 and a son, Daniel in 1976. In 1977, Val and Wade moved to Fiji where they stayed until 1983. Val worked in fashion throughout her life, owning her own dress shop - Val's Fashions of Honley - and then working at Kate's Fashions in Holmfirth. Val moved to Wooldale in 2014. Val had a severe stroke on 12 September 2023 and went into Calderdale Royal Hospital and sadly passed away on 7th December 2023.
