In loving memory of Maureen Westworth who peacefully passed away on Sunday 10th December 2023, surrounded by her family.

Nothing prepares you for the loss of a parent & when the time comes, no matter what the age, the grief is still painful.

Maureen has two wonderful Grandsons, Jack and Adam who thought the world of their nana. Also two beautiful Great Grandchildren, Joe and baby Connie. Mam was delighted to welcome baby Connie this year.

Mam was born and raised in Newcastle and was a lifelong Newcastle supporter. Mam and dad came to live in Castletown, Sunderland in 1965 when my dad went to work at Monkwearmouth pit. Mam remained in Castletown until going to Bryony Nursing Home in 2020 after a spell in hospital.

Mam will be a big miss and we all hope that you will join us to say goodbye on Friday 22.12.23 at 2pm at the Sacred Heart and John Bosco RC Church Hylton Castle and at 3pm at Sunderland Crematorium.
