Remembering Mick from our biking days, when myself Paul Chapman and Mick were all riding towards Iden Green and suddenly looked behind me and there was a cloud of dust, as I went back Mick was coming out the hedgerow where he had come off his bike. I am sure he had nine lives, the good old days.
RIP,thinking of all the family.

Mick was a one off, what's known as a'character'. Pretended to be hard on the outside but was as soft as grease on the inside.Stubborn to the end, but that's what kept him going, and we can be grateful for that. He was a good friend to us,and he will always have a place in our hearts. Time for you to rest now Mick, god bless. Xx

So sorry to learn of Mick’s passing. Denise & Mick used to come in The Star, Rolvenden. Also Mick’s brother used to come in as well. That was when my husband Tony Johnstone was running it, Mick & Tony got on well. Sadly my husband Tony passed away in May this year. My condolences to the family, ❤️ Celia XX
