In loving memory of Georgina Jane Hale who sadly passed away on 1st December 2023.

George brought her love, light and laughter to all our hearts and lives. She will live on in all of us who were privileged enough to have her in our lives.

George’s funeral will take place at 2pm at Wilford Hill Crematorium, Nottingham on Wednesday 27th December. Afterwards, a celebration of her life at The Ferry Inn, Wilford Village. George wanted us all to wear bright colours if possible. It would help with arrangements if you could confirm your attendance. There will be a live link available for anyone not able to be there in person.

At George’s request, no flowers please. Instead, donations to Cancer Research UK which can be made here.

I was so sad to hear of your passing! My Sister and I loved your wit and cheeky sense of humour on Facebook. I met you in 1994 Cousin ! You seemed like such a caring person and fun to be around. I was hoping that you could’ve come out here to visit us! I will always miss and love you Georgina!

Rest in peace my dear cousin. I would dearly have loved to know you so much better than I did, but with us always living on opposite sides of the planet, it wasn’t possible. And now, it will never be. Your friends and family have been saying such lovely things about you. Particular mention of your sense of humour and fun loving nature stand out. But also your warmth and kindness to loved ones in need. Rest now dear cousin.
