Antoine Gerald Anzie, known affectionately as "Anzie", "Andy", "Senor" or "Ceyonce", spent most of his life in the UK having arrived in the late 1960s.
With a career starting in Ford and ending with a very long stint as a barber in East London, he was a friend to many many people and a devoted husband to the late Margaret and father to his two sons Andrew and Ashley.
After a short illness, Anzie sadly passed away a day after his 84th birthday. May he rest in eternal peace

Michelle Morant wrote

I have only fond memories of Anzie and Aunty Comley looking after me as a little girl. The older I got, the more they both always made me smile as they were both very comical and cracking jokes.

I could see how the last few years were difficult for Anzie with all the health issues. However, one of our last conversations we had, he told me " We are all here until the good Lord comes for us" He has now come for you, Anzie and may you rest in eternal peace forevermore, next to your beautiful and caring wife.

You both will always have a special place in my heart.

Andrew and Ashley will continue to make you both very proud and your legacy will continue with them.
